I have spent a lot of time painting commissions over the past three years. Subjects included architecture, animals and portraiture. This year I've been focusing on painting my commissions more loosely and trying to stay out of the weeds, so to speak, when it comes to creating likenesses so realistically. I'm aiming for more whimsy.
