Stories for My Heart...and Yours

As I sit here & consider this practice…my studio & the work that it offers, I realize that the whole thing, my entire art journey since 2020 has unintentionally been about reflections; about helping me consider the state of my heart. To pay attention to what’s going on inside of me. About taking the time to look back further than I ever have to how life affected my heart; none of which I would do, without some external motivator. Every time I share the story of my work it reveals my heart and the message turns from a message for you to a message for me as the words flow onto the page. It blows my mind how God works & leaves me in tears every dang time. He uses the story I share with the world to awaken places in me that need resurrecting And it ONLY happens through these messages as I begin to write, after the paint has dried on the paper.

So I want to thank you for being part of my story. For reading my ramblings….because it is my therapy & only happens when I write. It is my deep hope that you are benefitting, somehow. That the story of each piece & revelation I have might be a small part in helping you recover lost places in your heart, as well.
