I call the piece, “Sweet Bee”. My husband often calls me, “Sweet Pea” and the colors of the piece are some of my favorites and just remind me of me. Pinks and soft yellows with a few pops of color, here and there. I’m wearing this exact peachy pink, right now, in fact. 
The message of this piece is about taking care of ourselves so we can care well for others. I hadn’t painted anything just for me since Christmas time. I’ve been so busy with kiddos and homeschool and commissions that it’s been hard to consider creating “just because,” lately. But when I finally took a few hours to dive into something, last night, it was the boost I needed and now I’ve got more energy to get through TODAY! And that’s encouraging.
