I love being spontaneous and this little piece evolved while I was painting The Red Frame Series focused on poppies.  I loved the flower but it just seemed lonely so I added a little bee and loved every second of it. 
Bees always feel like messengers of hope to me. So here’s hoping that’s what you find when you see “Sweet as Honey”.  Hope.
